Description
About Midsomer Murders
The Midsomer Murders board game lets you play detective in Midsomer County, travelling around the board, questioning suspects and uncovering motives to work out who committed the murder.
It is made by John Adams Leisure Limited under the Ideal name, and it has 30 case cards, so there are 30 different murders to solve. The board is illustrated with real filming locations from the series, including The George on the Green and Chinnor Station.
How the game works
Players travel around the board, interview suspects and uncover evidence using the clue revealer unit.
When you think you know the answer, race to Causton CID and name the killer, together with their motive and weapon.
The first player to get it right wins, and a wrong answer puts you out of the game.
Why it works at a family table
It will appeal to fans of the show, and the board is full of recognisable locations. The deduction idea will be familiar if you have played Cluedo, though this game has its own case cards.
The game is listed for one to six players, so you can also try a case on your own, and there are 30 cases to work through.
Check the listing says this is the Midsomer Murders board game from Ideal and John Adams, with 30 case cards and a clue revealer unit. Other Midsomer Murders games and puzzles exist, so it is worth confirming.
